Lost Fashion Tour
If you are on the tour with me today in Merrion Square, welcome! If you are reading from home you are now on a virtual tour of the Lost Fashion History of Merrion Square. I will take you on a whistlestop tour of the fashion of the square and show you how some of the residences of Merrion Square have led the way in fashion across the centuries not only in Dublin but in London, Paris and around the world.
I will begin in the 18th Century when the square was laid out and make a pit-stop in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Get ready to follow in the footsteps of Duchesses, couturiers, aesthetes, poets and politicians.
