Señorita Style

I’m just back from Barcelona where I have been inspired by señorita style.  I’ve always loved the Gypsy señorita look; all that black lace, nipped in waists, frills, hoop earrings, flowers, shawls, ruffled sleeves and tumbling curls. Frou frou with attitude. Here’s some images that inspired me from a visit to the Museu Frederic Mares in Barcelona a collection of curios from early Christian artefacts to 19th century fans and also assorted imagery of the senorita I came across when pottering about the city.  Summer style inspiration. Olé!
