Dancing Shoes
There is something about a 1930s dancing shoe which is magic. I don’t know if is it the fine detail and intricate craftsmanship of the design or the dainty kid leathers used, or maybe it’s the tiny narrow sizes or the imprint of the last dancer which is still on the souls which makes them so special. I have a couple of pairs at home which I try, ugly sister-like to pour my feet into. I found these ones in a classroom I was teaching in and hoped they were being used to inspire a future dancing design…
