Blooming Shoes
Dublin is blooming! There has never been such a hive of activity and creativity in the air. One of the dynamic organisations promoting this feeling of creativity and positivity is Upstart. Granby Park (an Upstart project) have created this beautiful pop-up park and guerrilla gardening project. It brightens up the bleakest piece of wasteland on Dominick Street with fun, gardening, art, music and community spirit. It really is a delight for the senses. I was immediately drawn to the shoe wall (see pictured). This beautiful, blooming shoe wall was created by artist Jane Groves (of Body & Soul) and the children of St Paul’s Community School. They are quirky, hopeful and bloomin’ great!
