Fashion in Art
I had a whirlwind trip to New York last September which meant I had a chance to see all the cultural delights the city has to offer. I returned with a memory card full of photos and a head full of fashion stories which I would like to share with you here, starting with the amazing Fashion in Art tour I took at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Trois Coleurs: Bleu
Marjorelle blue is a shade of blue loved by the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, it is a deep cobalt blue colour that can be found in his Marrakesh garden- Jardin Marjorelle.
Magic Carpets
There are magic carpets everywhere in Morocco and if you are in search of an adventure to find textiles for your home- Marrakesh is well worth a visit.
Its nearly winter solstice and day-light hours are becoming scarce with the sun beginning to set low in the sky now from 3pm onwards- its easy to see why we need the cheer of Christmas lights.
Tokyo Story
The day I arrived in Tokyo a good friend of mine emailed me to say I should embrace every moment of my adventure and sent me a Buddhist mantra “present moment, wonderful moment” to guide me on my way. I took this mantra to heart on every part of my journey around Japan

Copenhagen & Cafe Paludan
Copenhagen is all about the cosy cafe’s and strolling through the city I happened upon this beauty. It’s no gem from the outside but inside is a sumptuous world.
